![]() Either I got the wrong set, or 3* gear, and wound up with nothing to show for the energy spent, I practically live in dragon now, looking for good 5* and 6* lifesteal drops. Grinding low (levels 13 and below) on dungeons made me too dependent on RNG. I waited until a 5* piece with a % based main stat + at least one decent substat dropped, then used it. Early on I found what worked best (given an inability to progress into deeper dungeons) was to farm the campaign for gear. The biggest bottlenecks in the game are gear, and silver. They seem so avoidable in hindsight and I hope they are helpful to someone. Those are some of the many mistakes I have made. If you haven’t thought about doing it, and aren’t sitting on a bunch of better champs, make it a priority. no need to chase legendaries with standard drop rates when I have so many epics and rares worth investment already.) I have been too impatient and my roster has inevitably suffered. Not that I have fared well during double chance, but looking at my roster there is always a project to work on (i.e. As a F2P I will now be waiting for those double chance events. Until the last 2 double chance events, I opened shards when I got them. I am going to turn that on right after I post this. I keep thinking I will not be around another hundred days, then I am. However, this was not true when I had her on 4K def and no lifesteal.) I use her everywhere and find this to work ok even in CB. (One exception is Valkyrie, who is not in LS but who usually is last to die given 5500 def and spot heals from Steelskull. I do ~20m per key on NM on a good day now, but will do better with more LS. They are outlasted by their lifesteal counterparts with inferior overall stats. I still have champs in CB that are not in lifesteal. Surely it would be better to max out set bonuses - like defense champs in defense sets, etc. yet another strategy I thought was nonsense. Basically, believe the hype and focus on this guy if you haven’t already.ĬB champs in lifesteal gear. He is one of my most used champs now, period. It turns out, no surprise, his reputation was justified. I thought it was foolish to “waste” a spot just to boost speed. I bucked conventional wisdom on Apothecary for too long. I did not use this resource and missed out on many things, like speed tuning for CB. Alternatively, fInd a content producer on YouTube and use their advice as a strong data point. I sabotaged myself picking champs for investment via tier lists, and wound up wasting time and resources I could never recover. Use them as data points if you must, but with caution. I didn’t, and all I gained was slower progress, probably. I should have thrown a few bones at it in order to progress faster. Plarium is what it is, but they have a nice platform / product, and I hope they continue to improve. If it helps you progress or have more fun, buying a few things is probably better than sticking to a position (with zero attached status, really). At this point it is a matter of principal. He survived, but averaged 45 second clears on 12-3 and 12-6 given lack of AOE on A1. ![]() My problem here was I geared him poorly, then stuck with that far too long (bound by silver). He was my first legendary, so that had to be good, right? Maybe. At this point I use Tallia only in Minotaur and Faction Wars. Not because she was useful, but because she was nice to look at, and I liked watching her AOE blast opponents. Speaking of my first 6 star, it was Tallia. But, my farm speed suffered enormously for a long time as a result of this poor prioritization. In fact, after months at level 60 I have yet to 6 star a starter champ. I did NOT make my starter my first 6 star. There are dozens of threads on why, and while not all agree with this, i feel my choice set me back quite a bit. I started with Elhain because she was nice to look at. Hopefully reading through some of my bone-headed errors and counterproductive, outright stubbornness will help some folks avoid falling into similar traps (especially early to mid game): I have recovered on most of these, but still digging out of a few holes. It has taken me this long to admit mistakes I have made playing this game. I have been at level 60 for a few months now.
